GREETINGS 2001
Stanley Krippner

Dear friends;

What a year this has been,
What a fine mess we’re in;
What the world needs is peace, hope, and love.
Keep a smile on your face
For the whole human race,
And keep giving some peace, hope, and love.
You may think that our chances are gone;
But it’s darkest just before dawn.
So give thanks every day,
Work and dance, laugh and play;
And when news is appalling,
And when panic comes calling,
Just keep handling out peace, hope and love.

This poem can be sung to the music from the Broadway musical “Brigadoon”, by Lerner & Loewe.
